History: Cole was born sometime in 1885 to a demon mother and a human father. His mother killed his father when he was three and he was raised in the Underworld, becoming a member of the Brotherhood of the Thorn, an elite demonic gang. He was originally sent to kill the Charmed Ones in order to get back his father's soul, but fell in love with Phoebe and renoucned his evil ways, killing the Triad. As a result of this, the Source put a price on his head, forcing him to go on the run from demonic bounty hunters. He eventually manages to get back to Phoebe and convince her that 'they' have a chance. The Charmed Ones then have a run-in with the Brotherhood, and he is tricked by his old mentor into killing a witch to save his father's soul. Phoebe refuses to forgive him, and he goes back to the Underworld, but a few weeks later, she has a change of heart and gets him back. Months later, Cole is hit with a power-stripping potion and loses his demonic half. He's confused about being human, especially after Phoebe turns down his marriage proposal; but they do finally get engaged. Then (insert ominous voice here) disaster strikes....when the girls vanquish the Source of all Evil, his powers go into the void in Cole where his demonic half used to be and take on a life of their own. Phoebe, oblivious, goes through with the wedding, unaware that the now-evil Cole tricked her into a dark ceremony. When his double life as ruler of the Underworld is finally revealed, Phoebe joins him to become his Queen. But then, he poses as her to kill an innocent Piper and Paige were protecting, and Phoebe is 'forced' to do the 'right thing' and vanquish him *whimper* However, his soul manages to hang on in a demonic wasteland, from which he is able to contact Phoebe. When she refuses to save him, he's ready to give up his life, but then discovers that he's accidentally acquired a few powers. He manages to save Phoebe's life from a demented FBI agent before returning to the Wasteland to collent more powers, this time so he can leave for good. When he returns to the mortal world, however, he learns that Phoebe has been trying to obtain a default divorce from him and sets out to show her that he's good.

History: Phoebe moved to New York after Grams died, living there for awhile until she lost her job and went back to San Francisco. On her first night home, she found the Book of Shadows in the attic and unwittingly released the Charmed Ones' dormant powers. She was the most accepting of their destiny to be 'different', and also the most easily swayed to the dark side because she was the only one born in the Manor. She met the ADA Cole Turner at a crime scene and was instantly attracted to him. When she learned his true identity, she faked his death and let him go, causing tension between herself and her sisters, especially Prue. When Cole returns, she denies her feelings for him and tells him that it's over; however, when he then saves her by helping Prue fix a time loop, she's willing to give him a chance again. Phoebe becomes the middle sister when Paige appears after Prue's funeral. When Cole proposes to her, she postpones saying yes because of her fear of commitment and fear of losing her identity. However, she says yes after he nearly dies while posessed by a 1950's ghost. She marries him a couple months later, unaware that he's been posessed by the Source's powers. When she learns of this, she leaves her sisters to join him as Queen of the Underworld. She's still conflicted over where her loyalties lie, though. Eventually, she vanquishes him. She also got pregnant during this time, and all hell broke loose shortly after Cole was vanquished when she began losing control to the baby's evil nature. The Seer, a demonic fortune teller (thanks for the description, Mandy!) then steals the baby from her, just before being vanquished. Cole then contacts Phoebe from the demonic wasteland, but she refuses to rescue him and goes ahead with attempting to obtain a default divorce.

Relationship Timeline
3.01-The Honeymoon's Over
Cole and Phoebe meet for the first time at a crime scene.
3.04-All Halliwell's Eve
A fortune teller on a trip to the past reveals that the first letter of Phoebe's true love's name is a 'C'. Later, Cole shows up at P3's Haloween part dressed as an angel, even though he admits that he isn't one, really. Phoebe says that this is okay because she isn't, either.
3.05-Sight Unseen
Phoebe and Cole kiss for the first time at P3 :-)
3.06-Primrose Empath
Cole tries to break things off with Phoebe, but Prue, who has gained the power of empathy from an infected demon, tells Phoebe that Cole is falling in love with her. Phoebe then goes over to Cole's to tell him how she feels about him, and the two make love.
3.07-Power Outage
Cole realizes that he can't bring himself to kill Phoebe, even though his plan to leave the girls powerless works perfectly. He spares her life, and then kills the Triad when they are going to execute him.
3.08-Sleuthing With The Enemy
When Phoebe finds out that Cole, who's been MIA for a week, is badly hurt, she begs Leo to heal him. He does so, only to realize that Cole is a demon. He tells Phoebe this, and although she insists she doesn't believe that, her doubts are evident. She then learns that Cole really is Belthazor. Before she gets a chance to vanquish him, he pleads his case, telling her that she has reawakened his humanity and ability to love. Phoebe follows her heart and fakes his death. He then goes into hiding, and she is forced to hide the truth from her sisters.
3.11-Blinded By The Whitelighter
Phoebe tells Leo that Cole is still alive.
3.12-Wrestling With Demons
Phoebe tells her sisters that Cole is still alive.
3.13-Bride And Gloom
Cole comes out of hiding and returns to San Francisco, saying he's back for good. Phoebe denies her feelings for him, even punching him in the jaw at one point. He then risks his life again to find out what a dark priestess who's kidnapped Prue is up to. The dark priestess then turns the girls evil, and Phoebe is now all over Cole but he refuses to play along, telling her that evil can't love. The girls then are able to stop the preistess and save themselves, but Phoebe is now afraid that she will be tempted to return to evil because of Cole. She tells him that it's over between them, and he just as firmly tells her that he's not giving up.
3.14-The Good, The Bad, and The Cursed
Cole risks his life to help Prue fix a time loop to save Phoebe. She then accepts him back into her life.
3.16-Death Takes A Halliwell
Phoebe and Cole team up to find out about the Seekers, demonic lie detectors. They reminisce about their past and falling in love.
3.19-The Demon Who Came In From The Cold
Cole goes undercover to find out what the Brotherhood, an elite demonic gang he used to belogn to, is planning. To save himself and complete his mission, he has to convince the girls that he's evil. Prue and Piper want to vanquish him, but Phoebe has doubts. She then realizes what Cole's plan was when she's able to see through another demon's impersonation of him.
3.20-Exit Strategy
Cole is tricked into killing a witch. Phoebe can't bring herself to forgive him, even though he begs her to save him.
3.21-Look Who's Barking
Phoebe is turned into a banshee because of her pain over Cole, but is saved when he admits his love for her. She then realizes that she was wrong to give up on him.
3.22-All Hell Breaks Loose
Phoebe goes down to the Underworld to get Cole back and suceeds :-)
4.08-Black As Cole
Cole proposes to Phoebe, who postpones saying yes. Cole's demonic half is then vanquished.
4.10-A Paige From the Past
Phoebe (cough, finally, cough) accepts Cole's proposal.
4.13-Charmed And Dangerous
While helping the girls vanquish the Source, Cole absorbs the Source's powers, which then take on a life of their own.

Cole convinces Phoebe to move out of the Manor.

After Cole poses as her to kill an innocent, Phoebe is 'forced' to vanquish him *whimper, sob*
4.22-Witch Way Now?
Cole contacts Phoebe from the demonic wasteland; however, she refuses to save him. He then finds his own way out, vowing to never give up on her.
5.01 & 5.02-A Witch's Tail
Phoebe's pain and confusion over her situation with Cole drive her to run from her problems as a mermaid. Paige then casts a spell to reveal her true feelings to Cole. He saves her from a life without feeling, and she then admits that she does love him, but it's not enough, and it's over between them.
5.03-Happily Ever After
Phoebe blames Cole when the girls' lives are turned into fairy tales, resulting in her attending a 'ball' with Adam, who is under the influence of an evil witch. When she finds out the truth, she does forgive Cole, but admits she now has trust issues. Cole then tells her to follow her first instincts about Adam, since she needs to trust herself before she'll be able to trust him again.
5.04-Siren Song
The Siren, a demoness who draws men to her with her singing and then kills them and their wives, sets her sights on Cole in order to destroy the Charmed Ones. Cole is able to survive because of his demonic powers, but then, still under the Siren's spell, tries to strangle Phoebe. The spell is broken when the Siren is vanquished, but Phoebe is now more convinced than ever that Cole will always have evil inside of him.
5.05-Magic Wears A Mask
Cole asks Phoebe to help him stop a slumlord from evicting tenants. She refuses, but then when a boy with special powers turns the Charmed Ones into superheroes, she usues her new powers to help. Unfortunately, the slumlord then catches the girls on tape, and Cole kills him to prevent him from exposing their secret. Phoebe, furious and hurt, leaves him without a backward glance.
5.07-Sympathy For The Demon
Barbras, the Demon of Fear, preys on Cole's wrost fears of hurting Phoebe and turning evil again in order to convince Paige to strip Cole's powers. Barbras then takes the powers for himself and traps the girls in a supernaturally haunted house. Barbras is finally vanquished when Cole faces his worst fear, taking his power back. Meanwhile, Phoebe dates a guy named Miles (ack, gag, yuck-you have no idea how traumatizing it was to just type that).

Cole: Ladies. My name is Cole Turner and I'm the assistant district attorney assigned to this case.
So I was wondering if either of you saw what happened here.
(Phoebe immediately raises her hand.)
Phoebe: I did!
-The Honeymoon's Over
Phoebe: Uh, hi, Cole, what are you doing in the office at two in the morning?
Cole: What are you doing calling the office at two in the morning?
Phoebe: Um, I was just gonna leave you a message. Save you the trouble of having to talk to me.
Cole: Why would I ever not want to talk to you?
Phoebe: I don't know, you know, just in case you thought I was a drunk, or a lunatic, or a drunk lunatic.
Cole: I think I'm gonna go with mystery, one I'm looking forward to figuring out.
Phoebe: Okay, um, I'm going to go then and, uh, be mysterious.
Cole: I'll call you.
Phoebe: I will answer.
-Once Upon A Time
Man: Care to know your future, milady?
Phoebe: Oh, no thanks, I'm pretty familiar with it already.
Man: Are you certain? I can show you the first initial of your true love's name.
Phoebe: Really? You can do that?
Man: With a simple peel of the apple.
Cole: Prove it.
Phoebe: And why would you be interested, sir?
Cole: And why wouldn't you be?
Phoebe: Okay, how do I do it?
Man: First, you must fill your heart with only thoughts of love. Then close your eyes and blow on the peel. (She does so.) Drop the peel into the water and watch.
Phoebe: And how is it that the apple knows this big secret?
Cole: It's simple, milady. Apples are the fruit of knowledge.
(The apple forms a C shape.)
Man: It is C. The name of your true love begins with a C.
Phoebe: Cole.
Phoebe: So, you're an angel?
Cole: What? Oh, uh, this? (They both laugh.) No, not really.
Phoebe: That's okay...neither am I.
-All Halliwell's Eve
Phoebe: So...still friends?
Cole: I hope we're more than that.
Phoebe: Do you? Prove it.
-Sight Unseen
Prue: Whoa, I haven't felt anything like that since Andy was alive.
Phoebe: Anything like what?
Prue: Spinning into infinity. You know, that headlong spiral that steals your breath and stops your heart.
Phoebe: Prue, what the hell are you talking about?
Prue: Falling in love.
Phoebe: Falling in love? Prue, I just got dumped, okay, I'm trying to experience a breakup here. Who's falling in love?
Prue: Cole.
Phoebe: Okay, you're so off track.
Prue: Oh! Oh! Wait, I felt that, too. Your heart just jumped and I felt it. You're falling in love, too.
Cole: You have no idea what you're getting yourself into.
Phoebe: Neither do you.
Cole: Morning.
Phoebe: Morning.
Cole: How are you feeling about last night?
Phoebe: Um...last night was magical. You?
Cole: What do you think?
Phoebe: Right here, right now, this place, it's perfect. I wish the whole world were just right in this room.
Cole: And we wouldn't have to worry about what happened next.
Phoebe: Are you going someplace?
Cole: Maybe. I'm not sure yet.
Phoebe: You know, if you're hiding anything from me, you don't have to hide anything from me.
Cole: What makes you think I'm hiding something?
Phoebe: Um, for the same reason I know how you really feel about me. If you're in some kind of trouble...
Cole: I can handle it.
Phoebe: I can help you.
Cole: No, you can't. (They kiss.) I have to go.
Phoebe: Am I gonna see you again?
Cole: One way or another...I promise.

Phoebe: I had a great time tonight.
Cole: Better than being at the homeowners meeting?
Phoebe: Mmm, a little. Okay, you're married.
Cole: What?
Phoebe: That's the big secret. You're married, you have three kids, and two dogs, and a really cute cat, rigght, and I'm your seven year itch?
Cole: You found me out.
Phoebe: Can't get anything past me.
Cole: I guess not.
Phoebe: Uh, about the other night. Are you sorry we, uh...
Cole: Not at all. Are you?
Phoebe: Depends on what happens next.
Cole: Too bad you can't predict the future.
Phoebe: Who says I can't? (They kiss.) Are you sure you don't wanna come in?
Cole: I've gotta get back to the case, you know. (She kisses him once more and starts to get out of the car.) Phoebe...
Phoebe: Yeah?
Cole: Goodbye.
Phoebe: Goodnight.

Cole: Is there something wrong, Phoebe, something you're not telling me?
Phoebe: Don't you think you think you have that backwards?
Cole: Meaning?
Phoebe: Well, you're the one with all the secrets, right?
Cole: Am I, you sure about that?
Phoebe: I don't really know what I'm sure about anymore.
Cole: Yeah? I know how you feel.
Phoebe: I doubt that.
Cole: I think I know what's going on here, Phoebe, and I'm sorry it's come to this. But I'm not sorry about us. You need to know that.
Phoebe: You never told me where you were from.
Cole: You never asked.
Phoebe: I'm asking now.
Cole: Why don't you ask me what you really want to know, Phoebe. I won't lie to you.
Phoebe: Who are you?
Phoebe: Don't even think that's gonna save you.
Cole: I don't. I just wanted you to see who I really am, Phoebe.
Phoebe: I've seen who you really are... Belthazor.
(She gets ready to throw the potion.)
Cole: Wait, wait. I won't hurt you.
Phoebe: No? It's a little too late for that, don't you think? Why? Why didn't you just kill me? Why did you have to put me through all of this? Was it some sick twisted demonic thrill? Was that what it was?
Cole: No, that's not it.
Phoebe: Then what was it?
Cole: I couldn't kill you. I tried. I was supposed to. I mean, at first you and your sisters thwarted my attempts. Even when I went back in time to destroy your line on All Hallows Eve.
Phoebe: That was you?
Cole: Then Troxa, Andras. I got him to strip your powers, to make you vulnerable. I had you too, right where I wanted you. All I had to do was finish the job. But I couldn't. Because I realized I loved you.
Phoebe: You bastard.
Cole: That's the truth, Phoebe. I admit everything else was a lie, but not that. I know you know that too. In your heart. This isn't a mask, Phoebe. It's who I am. Who I really am. I'm half human. My father was mortal.
Phoebe: You're lying.
Cole: How else would I bleed red, even as my demon self? You have to believe me, Phoebe. I forgot what it was like to be human. To feel, to care. Then I met you.
Phoebe: But that doesn't change anything. Because you're still a demon.
Cole: One who's done unspeakable things. But you've awakened something in me, Phoebe. Something I thought had died a long time ago. My humanity, my ability to love.
Phoebe: I wanna believe you.
Cole: Then let me prove it to you. Vanquish me.
(Krell zaps him. He flies through the air and lands hard on the ground.)
Phoebe: Cole! (She runs over to him) Cole, you've gotta get up. Cole, get up! (She helps him up.) Come on, come on! (She helps him into the mausoleum.) Cole, no, don't do this. Come on.
(She helps him walk over to a corner of the mausoleum. He sits down. Krell walks in.)
Krell: I should've known you'd come back here.
Cole: Don't hurt her.
Krell: You disappoint, Belthazor. You've changed. You let your weaker human side affect your better judgment. It's going to cost you your life. (He holds up the potion. Phoebe kicks it out of his hand and then kicks him. She blocks his punches and kicks him again. He falls over a coffin. Phoebe jumps on top of the coffin and as she jumps back off to kick him, he disappears. He reappears behind her.) Witch.
(She turns around. He holds up his hand ready to zap her.)
Cole: Nooo! (Cole zaps Krell and vanquishes him. Cole stands up.) Do you believe me now?
(Phoebe runs over and kisses him.)
(Cut to outside. Prue and Piper are there.)
Prue: Phoebe?
Piper: Phoebe!
[Cut back in the mausoleum. Cole and Phoebe are still kissing.]
Piper: (from outside) Phoebe!
(They stop kissing.)
Cole: I'd better go.
Phoebe: They'll keep looking for you until they find you.
Cole: Your sisters?
Phoebe: Them too.
Piper: (from outside) Phoebe?
Phoebe: Give me your shirt.
(She starts pulling off his shirt.)
Cole: My shirt?
Phoebe: Hurry up. (He takes off his shirt and Phoebe drops it on the ground. She picks up the potion and gets out the dagger.) Give me your hand. Trust me.
(Phoebe cuts Cole's hand with the dagger and squeezes the blood onto his shirt. She drops the potion onto his shirt and it explodes.)
[Cut to outside. Prue and Piper hear the noise.]
Prue: Phoebe.
Piper: There.
(They run towards the mausoleum.)
[Cut back inside.]
Phoebe: Nobody'll look for you anymore. You're dead.
Piper: (from outside) Phoebe!
Phoebe: Down here! (to Cole) You have to go. Please.
(They kiss and Cole shimmers out. Prue and Piper run in.)
Prue: Pheebs?
Piper: Phoebe, thank god you're okay.
(They see the burning pile.)
Phoebe: He killed Krell.
Prue: And you did what you had to do.
(Prue hugs her.)
Phoebe: I know.
-Sleuthing With The Enemy
Cole: I knew you'd know where to find me.
(Phoebe punches Cole in the jaw.)
Phoebe: That is for ruining my favorite movie and, oh, yeah! My life, too!
Cole: Phoebe-
Phoebe: I don't want to hear it, Cole. I'm over you. I want nothing to do with you anymore.
Cole: I don't believe that.
Phoebe: Oh, yeah? Well, believe it, because if I ever see you again, I'm gonna do what I should've done a long time ago, which is vanquish your sorry ass.
Cole: Apparently distance hasn't exactly made the heart grow fonder.
Phoebe: Huh. (she goes to leave.)
Cole: Phoebe, wait. Hey! Look, I took a huge risk coming out in the open and contacting you. The least you can do is hear me out! (She turns around.) I've been hiding this whole time, shimmering from realm to realm to keep the Source from realizing you didn't vanquish my sorry ass. You're the only one who knows I'm alive.
Phoebe: Actually, that's not true. I couldn't keep lying to my sisters, I had to tell them.
Cole: Okay. That's okay, I understand. As long as you didn' t tell Leo. (she looks away.) Oh, for god's sake, Phoebe! Why didn't you just put an ad in the paper, tell the whole damn world?
Phoebe: You know what? Maybe I should have.
Cole: I've risked my life for you, Phoebe. My soul. I've put myself in more danger coming back here than you can possibly imaginebecause I want to try and figure out how to make this work between us.
Phoebe: Good and evil can't work together.
Cole: We did before.
Phoebe: I learned from my mistakes.
Cole: So did I. Phoebe, I can supress my demonic half just like I suppressed my human half before we met. I can be good. You've seen that. And if you know I can, then why can't we be together?
Phoebe: It's too late.
Phoebe: I want my sister back.
Cole: No matter the cost?
Phoebe: I want my sister back.
Cole: I'm doing this for you. Know that.
(Phoebe turns to leave, but then turns back around and kisses Cole passionately.)
Cole: Now I'm really confused.
Phoebe: Me, too. I, uh, I don't know where that came from.
Cole: Okay, uh, I better go.
Phoebe: Yeah.
Cole: Listen, if you don't hear back from me, I got caught.
Cole: It's not enough, is it? What I did doesn't change your mind about us, does it?
Phoebe: No.
Cole: Why not?
Phoebe: It's too complicated.
Cole: Oh, don't give me that. If nothing else, let's at least be honest with each other. We owe that.
Phoebe: I love you. And I will always love you, nothing can change that. It's just...the temptation, it's too much. And I can't take that risk, for me or my sisters.
Cole: Phoebe, I'm telling you, I'm not evil anymore.
Phoebe: Maybe not on the surface, and maybe not even in your heart. But somewhere inside of you, you will always be. And you can't ever change that. (Phoebe caresses Cole's cheek.) Goodbye.
(She leaves the mausoleum.)
Cole: I'm not giving up, Phoebe. I'm not going away.
-Bride And Gloom
Prue: After all this is over, you need to leave us alone. Otherwise we're gonna do what we should have done in the first place, which is vanquish you.
Cole: Then that's what you're gonna have to do, because it's the only way you're going to keep me away from Phoebe.
Victor: Oh, so now I'm supposed to trust a demon?
Leo: You know, as much as I hate to say this, Cole loves Phoebe. He took a huge risk to come here and try and prove himself to her and he will do whatever it takes to save her life.
Phoebe: He's right.
Victor: How can you be so sure?
Phoebe: Because he loves me as much as I love him.
Cole: Well, I guess I should be going.
Prue: Yeah, that would probably be a good idea.
Phoebe: You're not going anywhere.
Cole: Phoebe, I don't wanna cause any trouble-
(She kisses him.)
Phoebe: You're staying, and that's that.
-The Good, The Bad, And The Cursed
Cole: I'd better get out of here.
Phoebe: What? Why?
Cole: Because it's getting too dangerous.
Phoebe: So you're just gonna disappear again?
Cole: If that's what it takes to keep you safe.
Phoebe: What about keeping me sane, Cole? I'm not gonna lose you again.
Cole: Some demon obviously knows I'm alive, or at least suspects it. Why else would they have killed my landlady? And if they killed her, they'll kill anyone they have to to get to me.
Phoebe: That's exactly why you cannot leave. We have to stop them before they hurt anybody else. Or before they hurt you.
Cole: They're after me, Phoebe. This is my batle. I'll handle it.
(He goes to leave.)
Phoebe: Cole. (He stops and turns back around.) I love you. And if holding on to that means that I have to fight a couple of extra demons along the way, then bring em on.
(He walks back over to her.)
Cole: Unfortunately, we have no idea what were dealing with. A strange shadow that only Prue can see, I haven't the slightest idea what that could be.
Phoebe: So, we'll figure it out. (She walks into his arms) Together. It won't bring Mrs. Owens back, but trust me, avenging an innocent feels pretty damn good.
Phoebe: Did you find something?
Cole: It's just this place. It's strange to be back here.
Phoebe: I know. It's strange for me, too.
Cole: It's the first taste I ever had of a normal life. There were mornings I'd wake up next to you, and I didn't feel evil. I was just a guy, in love with a beautiful girl. I wanted it so much, I started to believe my own lie.
Phoebe: It's not a lie anymore. We can have that. We can have a life together.
Cole: How?
Phoebe: Well, by taking out the bad guys who want to take it away from us.
-Death Takes A Halliwell
Cole: Phoebe, I have to go.
Phoebe: Nope, you can't.
Cole: Phoebe.
Phoebe: Remember that power stripping potion you asked me for, like, an hour ago, when everything was still wonderful? Well, I have an idea, I just need some time.
Cole: Phoebe, I have to go. And I'll need my powers while I'm gone.
Phoebe: Why? What are you gonna do?
Cole: Just blend in, that's it. I won't do anything evil.
Phoebe: Well, let me make sure you can't.
Cole: I'll be smart, and careful. I'll check in with you every two hours.
Phoebe: How? They'll track your shimmer.
Cole: Not if we meet in the mausoleum. That's the second safest place I know.
Phoebe: What's the safest?
Cole: With you. I thought you'd be proud of me.
Phoebe: Of what? Being suicidal?
Cole: I'm coming back. I always have.
Phoebe: Yeah, how can you be so sure that you're gonna come back this time? Cole, you've been hiding from them for months. And I don't understand, there's a price on your head and now all of a sudden you're willing to expose yourself? For what?
Cole: For good. You taught me not to walk away and let evil win, to fight the good fight. That's all I wanna do.
Phoebe: They'll kill you.
Cole: I have a plan, don't worry. This is the right thing to do, Phoebe. You know that, we both do. Mausoleum, two hours, okay?
(He kisses her hand and shimmers out.)
-The Demon Who Came In From The Cold
Phoebe: Cole. (He turns around.) Are you surprised to see me?
Cole: I hoped, but why'd you come, after what I did?
Phoebe: Because you need me. Besides, it's not like you haven't tried to kill me before. A little energy ball isn't gonna stop me.
Cole: I didn't have a choice. I never meant to hurt you.
Phoebe: I know, I know, it's okay. We just have to get you back to the house, and get that potion in you and you will be safe.
Cole: It's too late for that, now.
Phoebe: What do you mean? (Cole's hand changes into Belthazor's and his face starts to change. He struggles.) We have to hurry.
Cole: Maybe I should shimmer us there.
Phoebe: You can't use your demonic powers. It's too much temptation, we'll just drive, come on.
Phoebe: I saw what you did.
Cole: It's not what it looks like. It wasn't...
Phoebe: Jenna is dead, and Leo is unconscious. What else could it be?
Cole: Raynor forced me, I had no choice.
Phoebe: There's always a choice, Cole.
Cole: The potion. (He reaches for it but Phoebe grabs if before he can.) Before it's too late.
Phoebe: It's already too late. You killed an innocent woman. There is no turning back from this.
Cole: I didn't wanna kill her. You've gotta understand that, I can still be good.
Phoebe: There's nothing good in you anymore.
Prue: Maybe there never was. You have to read the spell to activate the amulets, right? I mean, Cole, maybe that was your plan all along, to get the Book.
Piper: But evil can't use the amulets or the Book.
Phoebe: He could've if we'd stripped his powers. Is that why you wanted the potion, Cole? So you could get the spell and use the amulets against us?
Cole: Phoebe, you've gotta believe me.
Piper: I think she's believed you one too many times.
Cole: Stay out of this! This is between me and her.
Phoebe: There's nothing between us anymore.
Cole: Phoebe, don't let Raynor take this away from us, don't let him win.
Phoebe: Raynor didn't set you up, you set me up. What am I supposed to do?
Cole: Please, save me.
Phoebe: Save yourself.

Cole: Damn it, Phoebe-I love you.
Phoebe: Stay away from me. Just stay away.
Cole: Phoebe…
Phoebe: I don’t wanna hear it, Cole.
Cole: Yeah, you do. You’re not the only one hurting here. We both are. That’s why we were drawn into this mess. I tried to deny it too, I tried everything to break my feelings for you, even magic. But nothing works.
Phoebe: It doesn’t change anything.
Cole: No, it doesn’t. It doesn’t change the fact that I killed a witch. Even if I was tricked into doing it.
Phoebe: What do you mean?
Cole: Forget it, it doesn’t matter.
Phoebe: Yeah, well, maybe it matters to me.
Cole: Raynor cast a spell. He made me kill her against my will.
Phoebe: And why would he do that?
Cole: Because he wanted to turn me. And he knew the only way to do that was to destroy the one thing that was keeping me good. He knew that my killing a witch would destroy your faith in me. And he was right.
Phoebe: I don’t know what to say.
(He touches her face.)
Cole: There’s nothing to say. Like you said, it doesn't change the fact that I did it, or that we’ll always love each other. I guess it’s a pain we both have to live with.
Piper: It’s good to see you out. It’s been a while.
Phoebe: Yeah, I guess we’re both out of hiding. You know, I’ve been wanting to thank you.
Piper: For?
Phoebe: Calling Cole. I mean, if you hadn’t, I’d probably still be screaming.
Piper: Yeah, well, nothing like trusting your instincts.
Phoebe: I know what you mean. I think I’m gonna act on some of my own.
Piper: Do I even wanna ask?
Phoebe: I think I made a mistake giving up on Cole. I now know why he did what he did.
Piper: Phoebe.
Phoebe: He loves me. Which means that there’s still good in him. I can bring him back. I know I can.
-Look Who's Barking
Cole: You're not an easy girl to dump.
Phoebe: Yeah, well, I didnt' risk everything to come down here and not get what I came for.
Cole: Well, you can't have me. Not anymore.
Phoebe: I can if I reverse the spell that took you away from me.
Cole: We've already had this conversation, Phoebe. Even if you could reverse it, it doesn't change that fact that I-
Phoebe: That you killed a witch. Yeah, I know, Cole, but you didn't do it willingly, and that's the difference. That's what gives you a second chance, that's what gives us a second chance.
(He grabs her by the throat.)
Cole: I already had a second chance. And I blew it. Now this is your last chance. Do you understand? No more games. Go home. You can't save me.
(She smashes the potion on him. He staggers back.)
Phoebe: Wanna bet? Pretty cool potion, huh?
(He pulls her to him and kisses her.)
-All Hell Breaks Loose
Cole: I've got a better idea, what do you say we just...go somewhere, drop off the face of the earth together, disappear?
Phoebe: Don't tempt me.
Cole: Things have changed, Phoebe. We can't pretend we can go on like this. It's only a matter of time before the Source finds me, which means every minute we're together you're in danger.
Phoebe: I've lost too much already. I'm not losing you, too.

Cole: What am I supposed to do, now? Who am I?
Phoebe: Well, you're still the good man who I fell in love with.
-Black As Cole
Seer: Don't be afraid. (He spins around as the Seer walks in.)
Cole: Who are you? Where am I?
Seer: Back in your once and future life... Belthazor.
Cole: Belthazor? Seer.
Seer: Even now I can see the void where your demon half used to exist. It craves to be complete again.
Cole: How'd you know I was still alive?
Seer: I had a vision. One where you and I do great things together.
Cole: I don't work with evil anymore.
Seer: You might reconsider if you hope to save your precious witch. Only you and I can help her defeat the Source.
Cole: I'm listening.
Seer: If you take in the Hollow, you can absorb the Source's power when he attacks. Once powerless, they can vanquish him.
Cole: And what happens to me after?
Seer: The witches and I will banish the Hollow back to its crypt. You will return to normal.
Cole: How do I know this isn't one of The Source's tricks? Or one of yours for that matter.
Seer: The Source has been corrupted by the Hollow. And is going to destroy us all. He can not be allowed to continue with this path of madness.
Cole: If I do this, what do you see then?
Seer: A future for both sides.
Cole: Is this the great thing you saw us doing together?
Seer: Perhaps. However, you won't even know unless the Source is stopped first. It's your only chance to save your love.

Seer: Breathe.
Phoebe: How did I get here?
Seer: Your magic. Dark magic.
Phoebe: Stay away from me.
Seer: Stop me. (Phoebe throws fire at the Seer but it doesn't harm her.) Feels good doesn't it? Or more precisely, evil.
Phoebe: What do you want? What have you done to me?
Seer: What I've done is not important. What you must do now, however is. Your husband needs you by his side.
Phoebe: I don't understand.
Seer: Don't you? You and I share the same gift. We both can sense the truth. From the moment Cole absorbed the Source's power, you've sensed something different about him. Something that's changed him forever. You know the truth.
Phoebe: Cole is the Source.
Seer: Yes. And he needs your help if he hopes to survive. He needs your love. You can't keep fighting it. The maternal bond is too strong, listen to your body, Phoebe. Listen to your unborn son. He takes after his father.
Phoebe: His father lied to me.
Seer: He never lied about his feelings for you. And despite my best efforts he never stopped loving you. Oh, your son was conceived in love, you know that. It's time to stop fighting it. It's time to embrace your new family, your new destiny, otherwise Cole and your son will die. All of demondon will rise up against them to destroy them and you.
Phoebe: Are you okay?
Cole: What happened? What did you do?
Phoebe: I vanquished him.
Cole: But he was our last chance.
Phoebe: No it wasn't.
(Piper, Paige, and Leo orbs it.)
Paige: Thank god we found you.
Phoebe: It's too late.
Leo: What do you mean? What are you talking about?
(Phoebe picks up the Grimoire.)
Paige: Hey, I thought only evil could touch that book.
Phoebe: That's right.
Piper: Phoebe, what's going on?
Phoebe: I'm embracing my new destiny.
(Phoebe and Cole flame out.)
Piper: What the hell was that?
Seer: That was the Source. And his queen.
Cole: Are you sure about this? You're giving up your life.
Phoebe: My life is with you and our baby. We'll be strong together. After all, we're family.
(They kiss.)
Cole: I love you.
Seer: It is time.
Phoebe: We're ready.
-We're Off To See the Wizard
Cole: If you want to kill your boss, we have people who can do that for you.
Phoebe: Aren't you sweet. The truth is, she's right. My advice was a little off this week.
Cole: I don't understand what you're doing here. You're queen.
Phoebe: And you're cranky. I told you, I'm not quitting my job.
Cole: And what about your other job, are you gonna keep that too?
Phoebe: And what job would that be, Cole?
Cole: The Charmed One. Mallick told me what you did.
Phoebe: So what? I let him go.
Cole: That doesn't make it okay!
Phoebe: Keep your voice down! This is where I work.
Cole: You can't save an innocent and free a demon, Phoebe, it doesn't work like that.
Phoebe: You sound like Piper.
Cole: Yeah, well, Piper's right. You made a choice when you stood by me at the coronation. If you're questioning that choice, if you're not sure you want to be with me, you need to let me know.
Phoebe: Of course I wanna be with you, I just don't understand why you have to be so rigid.
Cole: Because I am the Source! Because you are my queen! Because there are expectations!
Phoebe: Do you think I care about anyone's expectations?
Cole: This is not a game, Phoebe. You walked through a one way door. You try to turn around now they will destroy us.
Phoebe: Who? My sisters?
Cole: The Underworld. If they think we're working both sides, they will revolt. If they do that, if they unite against us, I promise we will pray for death.
Phoebe: I'm sorry, I didn't...
Cole: I get it, Phoebe. Better than anyone, I know what you're going through. It'll rip you apart if you let it.
Phoebe: How do I not let it?
Cole: You make a choice. And you stick to it. Even though it's hard. Even though it means giving up the people that you love. Let's go home.
(She takes his hand and they flame out.)
Cole: Phoebe, we have to...What's the matter?
Phoebe: Did you know about the Seer's tonic? What it really does?
Cole: What's this? You planning to leave me?
Phoebe: I wrote two letters. One saying goodbye to you and one saying goodbye to my sisters. I haven't decided which one I'm gonna send.
Cole: Well, you'd better decide. Right now.
Phoebe: Did you know about the tonic?
Cole: Yes.
Phoebe: So you knew she was poisoning me with evil.
Cole: You took my hand and walked me through that coronation long before anybody gave you anything to drink. So if you want to pretend you're being poisoned-
Phoebe: So why even bother with the tonic? Why not just let me think for myself?
Cole: Because I know what it feels like to have good and evil fighting inside you, ripping your insides out. I wanted to save you that pain.
Phoebe: You should've trusted me to stand by you all on my own.
Cole: So show me I can. You know what's in the tonic now, you know how it works. Drink it. All on your own.
Phoebe: Cole.
Cole: I don't have time for games, Phoebe. Just drink the tonic, or leave. Now.
Phoebe: What is going on with you? What happened?
Cole: What happened is you had to go and play demon catcher with your sisters.
Phoebe: Cole, it's who I am!
Cole: And now we're in danger, serious danger. If you don't care about your life, or mine, or the baby's, what about Paige or Piper?
Phoebe: Don't you threaten them.
Cole: I'm not. But if there's a coup, do you think whoever takes over from me will let them live? Without the power of three they're sitting ducks.
Phoebe: I don't know what to do.
Cole: You can't go back. There is only one choice. Drink the tonic. You have to know that I would never do anything to hurt you. Please. For us. For our son. (She hesitates and then drinks the tonic in one quick mouthful. He hugs her.) I love you, Phoebe. Just remember, whatever happens next, we can handle it as long as we stay together.
Phoebe: What do you mean, whatever happens next?
Cole: The Conroy thing got serious. I had to take care of it.
(She pulls away from him.)
Phoebe: You killed him?
Cole: It was your mess, I was just cleaning it up.
Phoebe: Cole, they're gonna come after you. They're gonna come here!
Cole: Well, if they do...
Phoebe: No.
Cole: Phoebe, if it comes down to them or us...
Phoebe: Oh, god.
(She runs into the bathroom.)
Cole: Phoebe, wait.
(Cut to the bathroom. Phoebe throws up in the toilet. She then washes her face.)
Cole: Phoebe. (He knocks on the door.) Phoebe?
(Piper, Paige and Leo orb in.)
Paige: You evil son of a bitch.
(Piper blows Cole up into fragments which fly around in a circle. Paige places the crystals on the floor around him.)
Piper: Phoebe, get out here and help us damnit! (Cole reconstitutes) Paige!
(Cole backhands Paige and she is knocked across the room. One of the crystals she was holding bounces along the floor.)
Cole: Don't make me kill you.
(Piper blows Cole up again as Leo heals Paige.)
Piper: Phoebe, you heard what he said, he's gonna kill us, help us!
(Cut to the bathroom. Phoebe is leaning against the door, sobbing.)
Phoebe: Forgive me.
(She opens the door and goes out. Cole reconstitutes again and forms a fireball. Phoebe picks up the crystal that bounced across the floor.)
Cole: (to Phoebe) I'm sorry. It's for the best.
Phoebe: I know it is.
(She walks over to Cole and the fireball disappears. She kisses him.)
Piper: Phoebe?
(Phoebe moves away from Cole.)
Phoebe: I'm sorry too.
(She places the crystal in its place and the force field is activated.)
Cole: Phoebe, no. No!
Phoebe: (sobbing) I'm sorry, baby. I'm so sorry.
Piper: Prudence, Penelope, Patricia, Melinda...
Phoebe: (sobbing) Ashford, Helen, Laura and Grace...
Cole: I'll always love you.
Paige: Halliwell witches stand strong beside us.
Phoebe: Vanquish this evil...
Piper, Phoebe, Paige: From time and space.
(Cole is vanquished in a huge explosion. Phoebe pulls away from her sisters,c rying.)

Phoebe: Cole...we did the best we could. We have tried every way possible to make this work, but...it wasn't meant to be. And it wasn't because we didn't love each other. It's just...love wasn't enough.
Cole: I couldn't very well let you die now, could I?
Phoebe: I dont understand, how...?
Cole: Let's just say I've picked up a few powers lately. Quite a few, actually. (He turns and starts to walks away, then stops.) I'm not giving up on us, Phoebe. Ever. (He blurs out.)
